@Loki said in The Carter Page Book: I had no idea he was releasing a book. Nor did I. Wonder why MSM is not promoting and/or creating awareness. It’s not like them to ignore the latest book. Curious. LOL https://www.amazon.com/Abuse-Power-Innocent-Attempted-President/dp/1684511208/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=carter+page&qid=1598381305&sr=8-1

Doesn't seem right that you should be subpoenaed on FB.

I guess in Joe's World, you need to be the right kind of black. Speaking of Justice Thomas, a speech he delivered over two decades ago... https://teachingamericanhistory.org/library/document/speech-to-the-national-bar-association/

BTW, the money shot from Hunter's column: Not having a COVID relief bill didn’t change their vacation schedule, Speaker Nancy Pelosi wants to keep her majority and not having a bill that will help people from the damage government has imposed has to be made up for with at-home lies. But a political scam designed to scare gullible Democrats into thinking President Orange Man Bad is trying to steal the election? That’s worth an emergency session.

@xenon said in Trump’s sister: @Larry said in Trump’s sister: @xenon said in Trump’s sister: Interesting. I just learned the pledge was invented by a Christian socialist in the late 1800s. He blended left wing economics with Christianity. And what does that have to do with it? Good grief. Look - if you don't like how things are done in America get the fuck out of it. I'm getting tired of having to suffer a fool. It’s just interesting that the pledge of allegiance is written by a socialist. That’s not interesting to you? This thread made me look up the origin. Actually, Bellamy wrote part of it. It's been amended a couple of times. Bellamy was a Baptist minister, who at the time was a Christian socialist, a bit different than what the word socialist is taken to mean today. The Pledge was written in response to the adoption of Columbus Day, a holiday Bellamy had campaigned for (poor sod probably didn't know about Columbus enslaving all those charming native people he discivered). As usual, history without context is useless. Rememeber, The Pledge was written within the lifetime of many of the combatants of the Civil War, a lot whom did not care a lot for the Union flag at one time. It was first recited by children and was seen as a unifying mechanism for Americans. It still is.

I'm watching YouTube right now, they're really burning things down in Kenosha tonight! The Portland riots are hard to find on YouTube, they have really taken pains to divert search queries to anything else but live stream riot coverage. I couldn't find anything the other night, and then one live stream popped up when I clicked the "home" link. Go figure. Thanks, YouTube!
